Charities and Community Groups
We are delighted to help small local charities and community groups, establish an on-line presence by working with them to evolve their web and social media offering.
This started with Gail's "My Heart Laughs" and was followed by helping Lower Coquetdale Red Squirrels (a conservation group).
We are always happy to help more!
We are currently involved in helping the following charities:
My Heart Laughs
Their aim is to make a difference by their efforts, whether it is running a marathon, sewing all manner of things, attending craft fairs or organising charity events etc.
Supporting childrens' charities in Germany where Gail lives and the British Heart Foundation in the UK, Gail and her friends raise money for children with heart defects, cancer and cystic fibrosis.
Gail says "Over the past few years I have had the pleasure of meeting many children with heart defects, cancer and cystic fibrosis.
They are all very inspiring. Each of them has their own story to tell.
I am in awe of the strength, determination and willpower of these children. I started running again a few years ago with a very vague idea of running a marathon before I was 40.
I often think of these children when I run. It gives me the motivation I need to keep going. My casual running quickly turned into marathon training."
We created and now maintain Gail's web site in English and German versions.
Lower Coquetdale Red Squirrels
This charity is a group of volunteers who work to ensure the conservation of our native Red Squirrel within their local area, covering the Coquet Valley area east of the A697, down river to Guyzance and incorporating Felton and Swarland communities.
The group's aim is to preserve the red squirrel and raise awareness of their plight in the local area and beyond. They aim to prevent the spread of grey squirrels that threaten to wipe out a beautiful native creature.
We created and now maintain the group's web site and assist in managing their Facebook presence.
